Youth Weightlifting is HTF's lifting program. It consists of 2 sessions per week- Theses are hour long classes where lifters work with a small group of their peers to practice the most powerful and effective weightlifting movements.
We train form and progression on the 5 key lifts with accessory work.

It’s not enough to just lift heavy every day. We prioritize long-term development and doing the additional work necessary to stay healthy and get stronger over time.
Our fitness program is focused on developing well-rounded athletes by including strength, conditioning, calisthenics, and other types of training.
Weightlifting is a very technical sport and excellent technique results not in just being able to lift more weight, but being able to progress for the long term. Our Summer Program will include work on the 5 Key lifts: Bench, Overhead, Squat, Dead lift and Lat pulls
Our youth Strength and Conditioning programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of training by reinforcing correct movement patterns and mechanics through fun and engaging drills and games. We teach basic running and lifting technique to ensure that correct form is reinforced from the beginning. When done in a controlled, supervised manner, weight lifting and conditioning is a safe and beneficial activity for athletes of all ages.
Our WEIGHT LIFTING program
is designed for youth ages 13-17 who have little or no lifting experience. Lifters learn strength training techniques, gym etiquette, and basic training progressions simplified specifically for beginners.
Classes start with the lightest weights and most basic movements, then progress to heavier weights at their own pace. Lifters receive personalized instruction and feedback from our professional coaches in a non-competitive environment with an emphasis on learning and improving.
We provide full-service, professional training that focuses on speed, fitness, balance, agility, confidence and more. Together, we can take your performance to the next level.
